Memberships are a great way to get involved at the Guild. The Waukesha Clay Art Guild offers a full experiance studio membership allowing a full involvement in clay. The studio membership allows various benefits and rewards while supporting the arts in their community.
What do we have to offer?
We are a 5000 Sq.Ft. pottery facility located in downtown Waukesha. We have over 16 pottery wheels, slab rollers, extruders, spray booth, all kinds of kilns (Gas & Electric), Fully stocked chemical room, plenty of storage, State of the Art teaching facility, pretty much everything to get you into clay.
Our Membership structure allows many oppurtunities to get involved.
Full Experience
$55/ month (6 month contract) *Paid in full or monthly EFT required

Add a family member for only an additional $10 month.(aka secondary)
To start a membership, there is a one-time $60 joining fee. The joining fee is waived if you have taken a prior 6 week class, or a series of 2 or more private lessons. With the joining fee you get:

What is not included with the membership?
Mainly only 2 things. Materials and kiln firings.
Due to the unsupervised 24/7 access our membership allows, The primary member must be 18 or older. Anyone under the age of 18, must have a parent/ guardian sign on as the main membership holder, and add on the youth as a secondary. There are no exceptions. In order for the secondary to take advantage of the 24/7 full access, they must be 16 or older, and complete the youth studio orientation (to be scheduled).
Kiln firing and fees:
The Potters Shop kiln room consists of 4- 8 CuFt. electric cone 10 kilns, and a 8 CuFt. cone 10 gas updraft kiln.

Kiln loads need to be paid for in full prior to firing. Members are allowed to share kiln loads, however a full load needs to be paid for by 1 member.
Materials:
One of the distinctive features that sets us apart from other clay studios is the ability to experiment and work in all options of clay. You do not need to purchase your materials from us, however we do stock very nice, professional clays and glazes.
