The Potter’s Shop inspires me to try new techniques, I might not have thought to try before. It also motivates me to do more and challenge myself, especially watching the individual creativity of those around me. Even on those rare days, when everyone is quiet and focused, it is still a good feeling to be with those that share your common love for pottery. On the chatty days, its fun to be social and creative!

In the past, I’ve dabbled in various creative forms throughout my life as work schedule would allow. I am one of those people that needs to make something to feel contentment.

Stained glass and pottery have been my favorites for a long time. I do love color!

Experimenting with different methods of glaze application, along with adding texture with coils, stamps, or slip give me the varying results of my work.
