Summer Kids Pottery Art Camps – Pottery Basics

Youth Pottery Wheel Ages 8-15

Cost: $115 per child / $105 for additional students

The ultimate clay summer camp experience! Students will have the opportunity to work in many different applications of clay. Each day students will explore a new way to work in clay. We will be working in sculpture, slab-work, coil work, and of course the potters wheel.
Students will be working with real stoneware clay and glazes.  On the first day of class, students will discuss and decide on the project theme(s) for the session. Students will also glaze their own pieces as well. Glazing sessions are scheduled every following Friday at the same appointed time. For example, students enrolled in  July 13, 1:00-2:30pm, will have their glazing session on Friday, July 24 from 1:00-2:30pm. A full week of fun and learning in clay.

Students will finish the class with an average of 6 functional pieces of glazed stoneware pottery.

Maximum 9 students per class
